The fourth edition of “Faith Communication in the Digital World”, launched by the Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication, is open for applications until March 15th, 2024.
The program aims at providing a unique vocational training experience for 16 young professional communicators. Through a blend of theoretical learning and practical application, participants gain invaluable insights into utilizing digital media to communicate faith and serve the Church’s mission effectively.
Rooted in a synodal perspective of mutual listening and sharing, the program aligns with Jesus’ teachings and the Magisterium of Pope Francis, emphasizing collaboration and inclusivity. The project seeks to engage with the digital generation, harnessing their native understanding of digital platforms to foster meaningful dialogue and connection within faith communities.
The program is composed of weekly Zoom meetings to provide participants with comprehensive training and guidance; individual and group work, meaning hands-on projects enable participants to apply their newfound knowledge and skills, fostering creativity and collaboration; and a final residential week in Rome, an immersive experience in the heart of the Vatican City to offer participants a deeper understanding of the Church’s rich history and traditions.
