(SIGNIS Asia). SIGNIS Malaysia joined a group of catholic and lay organisations across Asia in a campaign to answer Pope Francis’s call to stand and work for “peace and freedom in Myanmar.”
Called Youth4Myanmar, the campaign aims to bring awareness of the situation among Catholic and non-Catholic youth and offers a plan of action to work for a more humane and just world.
Prayer intentions, webinars and advocacy initiatives were created to share the stories of the people in Myanmar and help promote freedom and peace in Myanmar and the region.
An online launch of the campaign is set to take place on the Feast of St. Peter and Paul on Tuesday, 29 June 2021.
