Havana, Cuba (SIGNIS ALC). SIGNIS Cuba launched a newsletter to share the activities and reflections of the association and its members.
According to its President, Xavier Carbonell, the publication aims to serve the Association and “to be a voice of culture and faith in the local context”.
The newsletter is the fruit of the editorial team’s work composed of Rachel Díez and Julio Pernús, the design of Elena Nazco and the editing of Xavier Carbonell.
The newsletter was launched on July 31, the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, “an apostle of truth and an adventurer of the spirit,” said the president of the Cuban Association of Catholic communicators.
“We hope that this newsletter will bear abundant fruit among us and that it will also help us to project ourselves into the regional and global dimensions of SIGNIS,” he added.
The first issue, July 2021, is available here. A summary version of the newsletter is also available in English.
On August 31, SIGNIS Cuba launched the second issue of its newsletter, which focuses on the ecological urgency and its future impact. Read the English version here.
